Rawand Gahitly factory is a one of leading factories in Iraq which entered the building material production sector Paving Stone & Curbstones in 2004. We have changed the building material zone in our country from the traditional materials to a new system which provides sound and heat insulation that is more resistive to seismic loads, fire comfortable and friendly with eco system.

We have reached our goal to produce Ponza (Pumice) Block Bricks back in 2010, now a days we produce more than 150,000 units of Ponza (Pumice) Block Bricks in different shapes and sizes for all over Iraq and abroad countries.

Pumice is one of the oldest building materials used by mankind since ancient times, due to its porous structure, lightness, high insulation effects and resistance to atmospheric conditions. In ancient Greek and Roman times, pumice was widely used in the construction of amphitheaters, temples, aqueducts, baths and cellars. These built structures are still resisting against time.
